JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an engineer on the Engineering Services team, you will work with a team of engineers to support efforts for agile development of code across multiple branches. You will maintain build systems, manage branches, and develop tools to increase efficiency of code development. You will also develop and maintain tools used in automated testing of code. In all of your responsibilities, your focus will be on removing barriers and facilitating prompt delivery of code to engineers and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take on branch management & merges
• Create, manage builds and releases
• Maintain build scripts.  Diagnose build problems.
• Integrate automation into build system
• Contribute in building automated regression tests from cases.
• Developing testing tools and resources to aid in testing effort.
• Work within the Agile scrum software development methodology.
• As part of a small team, creatively fill needs as they are identified.
• Maintain Tools and integrations
• Build out benchmarking/sizing tools
• Create tools for tracking code integrations into releases
• Build schedulers for regular tasks (integrating from check-in to automation)

REQUIRED SKILLSET / EXPERIENCE:

A qualified candidate will have many or all of the following:

• Solid Linux user/admin capabilities
• Familiar with network diagnostics and configuration
• Experience in build management, SCM tools (especially Git)
• Experience building automation environments
• Proficient in at least 2 scripting/programming languages (Python and UNIX shell preferred)
• Experience in a SaaS, and/or multi-tenant hosted environment
